It has been very long since I last uploaded that during this whole time, my school year ended, and it is the beginning of a new academic year. During the past few months, I have not been very productive; hence, I plan to be on schedule strictly and never procrastinate things from now on. ( which I plan to follow with the best of my efforts)
In the past few months, I have also experienced one of my firsts: a reading slump. A reading slump is a phase where the reader is not motivated to read books or the story doesn’t engage the reader in the book. I must say, I didn’t believe in reading slumps before. I thought people were too busy or lazy to read and named that term as a reading slump. (Boy, Was I wrong). I love reading so much to the point where I used to make an all-nighter to complete my favorite book, but during my reading slump, I thought I can never read a book ever again (It’s a little dramatic, but that’s how it felt). Now that I have experienced it, it gives me the thought that everyone needs a break from doing what they love because taking breaks can provide us with the realization of how much we love doing it and appreciate the act of doing it.
Hence, if you ever experience a creativity block or doing something you love doesn’t spark your interest as it did before, don’t force yourself to do it because it only weakens your fondness towards it even more. Taking a break and enjoying the little things around you is what you might sometimes need (and it isn’t the end of the world if you do so 🙂. ) Have a good day!

Nice one Aathreye. I am sure you must be knowing how to beat reading slump because you know why did you get into reading slump. As you rightly said sometime it enlights lights the value of somthing by being away from it. I am pretty much sure you will find out the best way to beat your reading slump hard and enjoy your future reading. All the best dear. Stay blessed.
